Youth Summer Jobs Available with U.S. Forest Service

The Greening Youth Foundation is teaming up with the U.S. Forest Service to hire youth (ages 15-19) for Summer jobs with the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) crew.
According to the website LakeLanier.com, YCC provides meaningful employment, job skills and educational opportunities through outdoor projects focused on managing natural and cultural resources on the national forest.
Applications and resumes will be accepted until May 3, 2013.
YCC is a summer employment program for youth from all segments of society who work, learn and earn together by doing projects on public land. Youth are provided an opportunity to increase their self-esteem and learn self-discipline. They learn work ethic and build lasting cultural bridges with other youth.
