John Deere is one of the many employers making the Augusta, GA area the best place in the U.S. for jobs

The financial news website Money.CNN.com has just released its annual report of the “Where the jobs are”. It is a list of the top 25th job growth counties in the United States. Two Georgia Counties are in the top 25 for 2013.

The top county in the U.S. this year is Columbia County, where job growth is up 14.1% over the last two years.

According to the report, a flood of new jobs is flowing into this county set on the Savannah River. Thanks to the strength of companies like John Deere and the Georgia Iron Works Foundry, opportunities are pouring in. Another boost comes from nearby Fort Gordon, a major employer in the area.

Gwinnett County also made the top 25 coming in at #9, with a two-year job growth of 13.1%
