30 Days, 30 Dreams gives 30 students a chance at attending college through scholarship money.

Thirty Atlanta area students were the recipients of a $1000 college scholarship and an Aio tablet on Tuesday evening, October 22nd at Fernbank Museum.

Aio Wireless, a subsidiary of AT&T and a value wireless service, began a program called ”30 Days, 30 Dreams.” The program provides college scholarships and a Wireless Aio tablet to 30 students in three different cities: Atlanta, Los Angeles and Dallas. For 30 days, Aio Wireless highlights the dreams of the scholarship recipients thru its social media.

The program collaborates with local nonprofit organizations in each city. In Atlanta, Aio collaborated with 100 Black Men of Atlanta, the Latin American Association and the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.

“’30 Days 30 Dreams’ is about locking arms with organizations that make dreams a reality for people who live and work in the neighborhoods we serve,” said Norelie Garcia, Aio’s director of sponsorships and community engagement. “We’re proud to add Atlanta to the list of cities where ’30-Days 30-Dreams’ is helping local youth and we look forward to reaching out to more students in the other cities we serve.”
