Elf on the Shelf has sold over 6 million copies.

Many families are quite familiar with the ever-growing Elf on the Shelf tradition, but how many realize the creators are from Georgia?

In 2005, the mother-daughter trio of Carol Aebersold, Chanda Bell and Christa Pitts created the children's storybook and doll elf in a box, based on their own family tradition. Today, that book, The Elf on the Shelf®: A Christmas Tradition, has sold over 6 million copies and has become an international phenomenon. The Elf on the Shelf has become so popular that it has just claimed the #1 spot on USA Today's bestseller list.

Creatively Classic Activities and Books (CCA and B), founded by Carol Aebersold, Chanda Bell and Christa Pitts, is a family business with Carol being the Managing Partner and the daughters, Chanda and Christa being co-CEO's.  The three women were all honored with the Georgia Small Business Person of the Year by the Small Business Association.  They have received numerous awards for their company as well.
