High school sports will resume in Georgia on June 8th. This after Georgia High School Association's Board of Trustees voted to restart athletics for the first time since all activites were brought to a halt in March because of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic. 

 

The GHSA decision includes football and all Fall sports, and initially will be limited to weight training and conditioning.  As for now, the July 27 start date for football practice and August 15 season start date are still unchanged on the calendar.
