The city of Kennesaw shelled out $1.8 million to settle a discrimination suit.

That’s according to an open records request by the Marietta Daily Journal.

Three former and current Public Works employees sued the city alleging racial discrimination and a hostile work environment.

The workers split more than a million dollars, while their lawyers were paid more than $700,000.

All parties signed a document that says there is no wrongdoing on behalf of the defendant.
