Another round of transportation projects has been approved by Governor Sonny Perdue.

The certified work is funded by the federal stimulus, or the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

This fresh round of $331 million-worth of road work will include several resurfacing and widening projects across Georgia.

The biggest projects: $45 million for widening work in Appling County; $40 million for resurfacing work in Bleckley County; $37 million on a widening project in Fayette County; and $25 million for new construction in Troup County.
