U.S. health officials say there’s no evidence the swine flu vaccine is causing serious side effects.

They say the vast majority of reports have been for minor symptoms where the shot was given.

The report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says officials have been watching whether the vaccine causes a paralyzing condition that was seen in higher numbers than usual during a swine flu vaccination campaign in the 1970s.

There has only been 10 such instances reported with this new vaccine.
