The Secretary of State's office says more than 760 thousand Georgians already cast their ballots early. When the president was on the ballot 2 years ago, over 2 million Georgians cast early ballots and the state's total turnout reached 85 percent. But this is an election year fewer people are historically drawn to the polls says Matt Carrothers with the Georgia Secretary of State's office.

"The past two off year elections have been 48 perent 54 percent respectively, so it could very well fall wtihin that range."

Carrothers says sample ballots for all precincts can be viewed on the Secretary of State's website. And for the first time this year over 2000 military and overseas voters dowloaded their ballots thanks to a new federal program.
