Winter storm warnings in the South are causing flight cancellations and longer lines at grocery stores in the Atlanta area. Several inches of snow forecast to fall overnight are also affecting plans for the Inauguration of Georgia's new governor.

Hundreds of flights in and out of Atlanta's airport have already been canceled in anticipation of the storm, which is expected to bring snow and icy conditions.

We are going to limit the activities on Monday to all the required activities of the inauguration itself. We are canceling all other ceremonies.

Those include a prayer service in the morning and the inaugural ball in the evening. Deal is asking people to stay home and watch his afternoon inauguration on TV instead.
