Reaction to the death of Osama Bin Laden is coming in from Georgia lawmakers.

U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson says the years long effort and success in getting Bin Laden should show the world the resolve of the U.S.

"It doesn't put an end to the tragedy of terrorism, but it sends the clear signal that terrorism will not stand, no matter how long it takes, no matter how many years and how many people, we will hold them accountable if they attack the United States of America. I think that's the signal that should be sent around the world."

Isakson spoke at a Georgia Chamber of Commerce luncheon in Cobb County Monday, before heading back to Washington.
