The Atlanta Police Department is looking for more Spanish-speaking officers and 911 operators.

The department says it needs more Spanish speakers to better serve the diverse community. Chief George Turner says the city has a growing base of Hispanic residents, and there are also a lot of Spanish-speaking visitors each year.

The department has created a public service announcement featuring two Hispanic officers. It is set to be featured on the department's website and social media channels. It talks about benefits of working for the department, including: competitive pay, health insurance, vacation time, pension, tuition reimbursement and housing assistance incentives.
