Officials unveiled the 2015 Georgia travel guide during an event at the Capitol recognizing the tourism industry's impact on the state.

Gov. Nathan Deal and Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Chris Carr unveiled the guide Tuesday during Tourism, Hospitality and Arts Day at the Capitol.

Deal said in a statement that the tourism industry has an overall economic impact of $53.6 billion on the state, which sustains more than 410,000 jobs. Deal says that represents roughly 10 percent of Georgia's workforce.

The Georgia travel guide is a full-color magazine style publication that highlights Georgia destinations, attractions, accommodations and offers trip ideas.
