Savannah Magazine associate editor Amy Paige Condon and Art Rise Savannah board president Kristopher Monroe offer up some ways to have a fun weekend in Savannah.

Amy’s picks:

-Experience unique art installation The Strangers Project, opening Thursday with a reception at 235 Habersham Street. The artist followed six strangers in Savannah to learn about and document their lives, then collaborated with other local artists and groups to create a room dedicated to each of them. Thursday, 7-11 p.m.

-Celebrate the latest new music from local Americana band City Hotel with their album release party at Southbound Brewery Friday. As always at Southbound, enjoy craft brews and take home a souvenir glass along with the great new tunes. Friday, 8-11 p.m.; $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

-Support the Historic Savannah Foundation while enjoying Savannah’s historic neighborhoods with the annual Race for Preservation. The race route winds through five historic neighborhoods and two historic parks. Saturday, 8 a.m.; $35-45, with discounts for military, first responders, and students

-Go on a spooky ghost-hunting mission Saturday in one of Savannah’s highly-haunted buildings: Moon River Brewing Company. Adam Berry of SyFy’s “Ghost Hunters” will lead the hunt, which starts with a dinner in the tunnels beneath the brewery before heading to the building’s spooky upper floors. Saturday, 6 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Sunday; $174.

Kristopher’s picks:

-Check out the monthly open mic event Spitfire Saturday at Muse Arts Warehouse. It features a mix of spoken-word poetry, music and other forms of expression. Saturday, 8 p.m., sign up at 7:15; $10 for the audience and $7 for performers.

-SCAD group Local Color will present a show called Project Liminal at Indigo Sky Gallery. It’s the first new show for some time at Jerome Meadows’s off-the-beaten-path gallery on Waters Ave.

-The Jepson Center will pay tribute to one of America’s most iconic artists with In Living Color: Andy Warhol & Contemporary Printmaking. The show features original prints from contemporary artists themed around imagery from Warhol’s career. Opening Sunday; free.
