The search for a missing north Georgia woman has taken searchers to North Carolina. Over the weekend, a caller to the FOX network TV show America’s Most Wanted said Kristi Cornwell’s body could be found in the area of Kings Mountain, North Carolina near Charlotte. Detectives launched a search there Sunday, and plan to sweep the area again today.

The 38-year-old Cornwell of Blairsville has been missing for almost two weeks. Her family is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to her return, or to information leading to people responsible for her disappearance.
