Kellogg's Lays Off Employees
Primary Content

Kellogg's is planning to lay off employees at its Augusta bakery.
The company declined to say how many employees will lose their jobs or what divisions they work in. A spokeswoman for Kellogg's says it's part of an effort to streamline the company.
The action, ironically, comes as the plant is expanding. The Development Authority of Richmond County reportedly approved $30 million in bond revenue to finance the project on Thursday, the same day the employees learned of their fate.
