Tybee Shake-Up After Tazing
Primary Content

Tybee Island's police chief and a police supervisor are suspended and three other officials have resigned after a Tasing incident.
The shake-up comes almost three-weeks after officers Tased an Austic teenager on the night of the island's "Beach Bum" Parade.
Police say, 18-year-old Clifford Gruvemberg was intoxicated and struggled with officers before he was Tased.
His family, however, says, it was obvious he was simply mentally impaired and was assaulted for no reason.
The incident has created a firestorm on the island, where the Mayor said Thursday that much of the investigation doesn't relate to Tazing itself but rather to reports issued after the incident took place.
