Primary Content

A tire plant in north Georgia'a Bartow County is expanding operations. The move will add another 200 jobs.
The Toyo Tires plant in White has been in operation for more than four years, and currently employs 650 people. It's the Japanese company's only plant in North America.
Toyo officials say the decision to expand is “in response to increased production and ongoing investment at the plant”.
Manager of HR and General Affairs for Toyo North American, Don Waterhouse, says the new jobs will be added over the next six to eight months.
The company says the facility is considered one of the most modern tire plants in the world. Toyo was named Georgia Manufacturer of the Year in 2009.
