There were 5 constitutional amendments on the ballot for voters to consider yesterday. Perhaps the biggest focus was on Amendment-2, the amendment to add a $10 car tag fee to fund trauma care. It was turned-down by voters by a tally of 52.6 percent against.

Other amendments—a very narrow ‘NO’ vote – 50.1 percent – the amendment to allow the state to execute multiyear contracts on long-term transportation projects.

The other amendments were approved by voters, including allowing the state to enter multiyear contracts for energy efficiency projects.
