Aflac Quack Is Back
Primary Content

The quack is back.
After six weeks of silence, the Aflac duck has a new voice.
Following a nation wide search for new talent, Aflac announced Tuesday that Minnesotan Dan McKeague will be the new voice of the company.
McKeague, a married father of three from the Minneapolis area, works as a radio sales manager in the Twin Cities.
The Columbus-based insurance company selected McKeague from over 12,000 online and live auditions.
He makes his fowl debut Tuesday night on the company’s Facebook page.
Former spokesduck Gilbert Gottfried lost the title in March after he posted insensitive comments about Japan’s earthquake and tsunami.
According to Aflac’s Chief Marketing Officer Michael Zuna the job is no joke.
“The Aflac Duck symbolizes our promise to be there in times of need,” said Zuna. “It represents [our] philanthropy and ethical values…so we are looking for the best person to help advance our brand and business in a way that demonstrates our values."
Aflac has raised over $62 million for the research and treatment of childhood cancer.
