Bubba Watson won his first major championship by turning in one of the more memorable moments in the history of the Masters.

The University of Georgia product used a string a four straight birdies on the back nine to get into a playoff with Louis Oosthuizen. Then, on the second playoff hole, Watson hit a spectacular hook out of the pine straw along the right side of the tenth fairway that landed safely on the green some 155 yards away. He only needed a two-putt to claim the green jacket after Oosthuizen made bogey.

The South African grabbed the lead on the par-5 second hole with a Masters Moment of his own. Oostehuizen holed his second shot for only the fourth double-eagle in the tournament's history.

Phil Mickelson, Peter Hanson, Lee Westwood, and Matt Kuchar (KOO'-chur) finished in a four-way tie for third at 8-under, two shots off the winning score. Mickelson lost ground when he made a triple-bogey 6 on the par-3 fourth hole.

Tiger Woods finished the tournament 5-over par.
