Next year's Wings Over North Georgia Air Show in Rome will feature an elite group of U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

John Cowman, president of the air show, saidthis will be the first time the Thunderbirds – a top-flight group of F-16 jets -- will fly over the event.

Organizers expect about 75,000 people to flock to northwestern Georgia for the two-day event at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport on Oct. 12 and 13.
