Laura serves as Vice President of Education at GPB. Her role includes overseeing educational content development and providing learning opportunities for Georgia's educators, students, and families. Laura taught middle grades and high school English language arts and journalism for 11 years. She also served as instructional learning manager at Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning where she managed curriculum and instruction initiatives, including the development of resources and training for Georgia’s early learning programs. Laura is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She received her master's degree in English education and her education specialist degree in curriculum and instruction from Piedmont College.
