A likely tornado touched down in metro Atlanta just before midnight Tuesday. As the sun rose, the cleanup in Rockdale County began. GPB’s Pamela Kirkland reports.
The 2024 Savannah Music Festival runs through April 13 at various venues in the city. Atlanta Symphony Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann is the second woman to lead a major U.S. orchestra. She joined ASO in 2022 and is in the middle of the 2023-2024 season, which debuted this week on GPB Radio and airs Thursdays and Sundays and streams across the state of Georgia on GPB Classical. This weekend, GPB TV will air the documentary, My Boléro, about Stutzmann's first time conducting the famous 1928 orchestral work by French composer Maurice Ravel.
