While Maggie Smith is not listed first on the cast of characters for "Downton Abbey", she is probably our favorite cast member. Her talent has been a staple of stage and screen for decades, and she is one of seventeen actors to have won the "triple crown" of acting awards - an Oscar, Tony, and Emmy (one of her Emmy wins was for "Downton Abbey" last year). While many people remember her work in "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie", "A Room With a View", and "California Suite", a new generation grew to love her as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter movies.
