Downton Abbey Cast Share Final Days Of Filming In Photos
Primary Content
The Downton Abbey cast are wrapping up shooting the show and lucky for us they want to share that experience with fans.
Cast members and crew have taken to social media to share photos of their final days filming the show using the hashtags #LastDaysofDownton and #lastdayhighclere.
Michelle Dockery seems to be the most prolific cast photographer and most photographed subject.
Here she is with other members of the Crawley clan headed to Los Angeles for the Television Critics Association press tour.

The soon to be ex-Lady Mary also posted a shot of cast and crew members congregating on the Highclere Castle grounds as well as individual photos of crew members.

Kevin Doyle who plays the hapless Mr. Moseley posted an image of himself and Dockery at Highclere Castle with the caption “oh how we laughed.” He and Dockery aren’t laughing in the photo, but it’s all in jest.

Doyle also posted a photo of Allen Leech sitting in a tent on a break, adding the caption “just wasting time, taking photos of one another.” (Clearly Tom Branson’s appearance in the last season is an open secret.)

Elizabeth McGovern posted a photo on Twitter of herself toting a backpack on the grounds of Highclere. “Goodbye Highclere castle. Now I look at you from the outside , forever more,” she tweeted on her last day of shooting. I’m sure if she asks the Lady Carnarvon nicely, she can visit anytime she wants to.
