1.) M.I.T. Launches YouTube S.T.E.M. Channel: According to Education Week, it “encourages MIT students to create short, interesting videos about STEM subjects aimed at K-12 learners.” Read the full story.
2.) Facebook Issues Online Guide for School Counselors: From ZDNet - In partnership with iKeepSafe.org and the American School Counselor Association, Facebook has put out a guide to for school counselors on how to engage students. Full story.
3.) Computer Essay Graders vs. Human Teacher Graders: NPR reports “A new study finds that software designed to automatically read and grade essays can do as good a job as humans — maybe even better.” Full story.
