"We worked with Georgia educators and leading industry experts to tell a holistic story of Georgia's water," says Mary Anne Lane, Director of Educational Content at Georgia Public Broadcasting. "One of my favorite features in this online resource is the collection of career videos, so kids can explore the variety of job opportunities in the water industry."

Georgia Water joins GPB's collection of 30+ virtual learning journeys and is the third collaboration between GPB Education and Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District. Previous projects include Georgia's Water Live Exploration and episodes of Camp GPB.

"We are grateful for our ongoing partnership with GPB and the opportunities they offer to showcase the vital water resources of Georgia," says Sarah Skinner, Manager at Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District. "Resources like the virtual learning journey allow us to take kids on an in-depth exploration of how water plays an important role in every aspect of our daily lives. Water is a shared resource and we all must do our part to conserve and protect it."
