Suwanee-based simpleFLOORS inc. has hired a new Chief Operating Officer and announced plans for expansion across the U.S. and Canada.
New COO Julio Berea says, “We believe that simpleFLOORS is poised to become one of the leading retailers of flooring products in the United States. Our goal is to utilize strategic partnerships, in-depth analysis of flooring trends, and an aggressive play in the franchise space to grow our presence in the U.S. and Canada over the next five years.”
Chicago-based Northern Trust has acquired Atlanta-based wealth management firm, Legacy South Inc.
The merger is expected to allow Northern Trust expansion into the Atlanta market.
"The Legacy South acquisition is part of our strategy to expand into key markets that have excellent growth opportunities," William Morrison, Northern Trust's president of personal financial services.
E-Recycling Systems expands with a 50,000 square foot Atlanta warehouse and service center.
E-Recycling systems is the North American agent for Guidetti Recycling Systems of Italy and Key Machinery (KM) of Austria. The company also represents American dust control systems provider R&R-Technology.
Regional Management Corporation has announced its first Georgia-based location with a new AutoCredit Source store in Atlanta. Regional Management is one of the nation’s largest lending operations with a network of 213 locations and 219,000 active accounts across South Carolina, Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
