The United States Department of Commerce has just released a new program for determining the true costs of offshoring compared to domestic production.

According to the Commerce Department, the Assess Costs Everywhere (ACE) evaluation tool provides manufacturers with the top reasons for investing and sourcing in the United States. With its analytic framework, links to public and private resources, and case studies, ACE is now available to help businesses assess total costs more accurately and enable informed decision-making.

Reshoring has become a positive trend as manufacturing returns to the United States from offshore.
