A Resurgent Domino's Pizza is Expanding in Atlanta

One of the world’s largest pizza makers is expanding delivery service in metro Atlanta and hiring 400 new employees in the process.

Domino’s pizza delivers more than 400 million pizzas each year in the U.S.

The company has expanded operations to more than 60 nations.

According to a report in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Mike Orcutt, who runs 91 Domino’s locations in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina under the Atlanta-based Cowabunga Inc., said he is looking to hire 300 to 400 more employees soon as he grows his pizza empire. He currently employs about 1,600. He told Atlanta Business Chronicle he plans to add more stores next year too, but could not divulge the number. He’s seeing “big” organic sales growth for 2012 and also plans some local store renovations to the “pizza theater” look. Think walking into a Domino’s and then being able to see every step of the process as your pizza is made to order.
