WellStar is Planning an Outpatient Facility (like the one seen here) for Cherokee County

WellStar Health System has announced it will construct a 150,000 square foot health facility in Holly Springs, GA.

The news follows a February announcement of the purchase of 62 acres and plans to hire 1000 workers for a new campus in Cherokee County.

According to a report in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the outpatient center will include medical diagnostic testing services such as medical imaging, urgent care, lab and pre-admission testing, cardiac and sleep diagnostics, physical therapy and sports medicine, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, pharmacy and community education, health screening and wellness services. Construction on the new facility should begin in 2014.
