The National Association of Manufacturers has released a report showing Georgia ranks 14th in the nation for growth in manufacturing jobs between December of 2009 and March of 2013.
During the 39-month period Georgia created an estimated 11,500 new manufacturing jobs.
Overall Michigan ranked number one with the strong comeback of U.S. auto manufacturing. Texas was ranked #2, Indiana #3, Ohio #4, and Wisconsin #5.
In the southeast both Tennessee and South Carolina rank ahead of Georgia.
