Sometimes it’s good to be average.
A new study from a disability insurance company shows Maine to be the most dangerous state for workers.
The study, conducted by the Allsup company, reviewed job-related injury claims that are serious enough to require a job transfer or restriction of job duties. The injury numbers show that 1.4% of Maine workers report such injuries every year. Indiana and California are ranked second and third most dangerous.
The least dangerous states to work include; New York, Hawaii, and Louisiana.
Wondering about Georgia? The peach state was actually right on the national average when it comes to workplace injuries.
