According to Georgia Production Partnership, there have been over 700 television and movie productions in the state of Georgia to present date. There are three films and television shows currently being filmed just this week in Atlanta.

The sequel to Dumb and Dumber, featuring actors Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey, is being filmed in Cabbagetown and around the Atlanta area.

The third movie in the Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay, is being filmed in Dawson County causing road closures off Elliott Family Parkway. There are still casting calls and extras needed (supposedly) for this movie as well.

Line of Sight is also filming this week. Red Top Mountain Road will be closed between I-75 and Joe Frank Harris Parkway in Emerson until 9 pm tonight due to filming.
