Increasing Revenues for Georgia

Georgia's net tax revenue has increased from one year ago.
By the end of October 2013, Georgia's net tax collections increased approximately $81.75 million or 5.9 percent compared to the month-end October 2012.Additionally, year to date net tax revenue collections are up 5.9 percent compared to the same point last year, announced Gov. Deal's office.
The increase can be contributed to the Corporate Income Tax collections. Corporate Tax revenues and refunds last year netted to $4 million, whereas, in 2013, they increased to $34.5 million.
Also, Individual Income tax collections increased by 1.4 percent, or $10.75 million.
