Caterpillar Opens Doors for Jobs [AUDIO]

The largest Georgia manufacturing facility since Kia Motors is now open.
Governor Nathan Deal and from across the state recently celebrated the official grand-opening of the new Caterpillar plant near Athens, GA. The facility will manufacture small tractors and excavating equipment.
The overall impact, of this investment and affiliated companies in the northeast Georgia area, is expected to be nearly 3000 jobs.
This week on Georgia Works radio we look at the jobs and opportunity becoming a reality because of the new Caterpillar plant.
Also this week, we talk to one of the U.S. largest employers, Atlanta-based United Parcel Service. “Big Brown” has more than 50,000 seasonal jobs available nationwide.
