Lapp Group, based out of Germany, has 17 worldwide factories and has more than 3,000 employees.

Lapp Group, a German supplier of cables and connectors for the automotive and communications industries, has opened a regional sales office and distribution center in Lawrenceville. The company has created 15 new jobs for Gwinnett County.

Charlotte Nash, Gwinnett County Board of Commission chairwoman, said Gwinnett’s location is one among many advantages for international companies.

"We consciously use our state incentives and demographic diversity to target foreign firms,” Ms. Nash said in a recent news release.
