A new $28 million children's hospital is going to be built in Savannah, announced Memorial Health officials.
The Children's Hospital of Savannah, A Memorial-Novant Partnership, will be built on the Waters Avenue campus. It will be a four year project, with a kick off event scheduled for Thursday, February 13th.
The hospital "...will consolidate pediatric services and provide a convenient, pleasing and high-quality facility to care for children in our community and the 35-county region,” said Maggie Gill, President and CEO of the parent corporation of Memorial University Medical Center (SavannaNow.com).
