Cabela's in Fort Oglethorpe plans to open in the fall of 2015.

Cabela's is opening stores in Augusta, Acworth and now in Fort Oglethorpe.

In Cabela's recent press release, the company stated that construction is scheduled to begin later this year with the store slated to open in the fall of 2015.

The 70,000 square foot store will be located in Catoosa County near the intersection of 75 and State Route 146 in a development currently anchored by Costco.

Cabela's expects to employ approximately 140 full-time and part-time employees.
