BMC, the building materials and construction services company will relocate its corporate headquarters from Boise, Idaho to Atlanta.

In a recent statement,BMC CEO  Peter Alexander said, “Atlanta was strategically chosen based on the fact that BMC, is targeting additional growth beyond its current footprint. The company’s fast organic growth, need to fill key management positions to support that growth and expand geographically beyond BMC's  current footprint made Atlanta the best choice. Both management and the board were unanimous that BMC,  required a more central location with a larger population base, a large talent pool and fully accessible air travel.”

Currently, BMC, operates in 16 markets, 10 western states, and has an excess of 5,000 employees.
