With two weeks left in the regular season, the GPB high school rankings continue to be in flux.

Each of the existing No. 1-ranked teams held their position, but there were new teams joining the poll in each of the state's eight classifications.

Holding their place at No. 1 were: Buford in Class 7A, Hughes in 6A, Ware County in 5A, North Oconee in 4A, Cedar Grove in 3A, Fitzgerald in 2A, Prince Avenue Christian in Class A Division II and Bowdon in Class A Division II.

In Class 7A, Walton re-entered the poll at No. 9 and Norcross entered for the first time at No. 10.

In Class 6A, South Paulding entered the poll at No. 10. The Spartans will meet No. 1 Hughes this week on Football Fridays in Georgia.

In Class 5A, two-time defending state champion Warner Robins returned to the rankings at No. 10.

In Class 4A, Cairo entered at No. 9 and Starr's Mill returned at No. 10.

In Class 3A, Carver-Columbus got back into the rankings at No. 9.

In Class 2A, Laney entered the poll at No. 9 and Worth County at No. 10.

In Class A, Metter jumped to No. 9 in Division I and Wilcox County entered at No. 10 in Division II.
