The playoffs are complete. Here are the final GPB football rankings for the 2024 season. 

The final GPB Sports regular-season rankings have been tabulated and they look very similar to what they were when the season began in August.

Big victories allow Prince Avenue and Savannah Christian to move up to No. 1 in the GPB Rankings.

Peach County jumped up to No. 1 in Class 3A after Sandy Creek's upset loss. 

Manchester becomes the third team to climb into the top spot in Class A Division II

Defending state champion and No. 1-ranked Milton continues to show its dominance while other number ones also hold their positions.

There were no changes at the top and few changes throughout the GPB Top 10. 

Toombs County uses big win to take over top spot in Class A Division I.

Marist ascends to the top of the Class 4A rankings and Sandy Creek takes over the top spot in Class 3A after both put up impressive victories. 

Milton, Prince Avenue Christian and Bowdon were all holding trophies at the end of the 2023 season. Each one will begin this year wearing a No. 1 target. 

Only two champions were able to defend their state football titles and two teams won it all for the first time in school history.

The eight teams at the top of the different classifications each carries more pressure than those in the remainder of the playoff brackets. 

A few new faces joined the rankings as the high school season enters the final week. 

Upson-Lee was the only team to make its first appearance of the season in the GPB Rankings. 

Mill Creek, the reigning Class 7A champion, jumped into the No. 1 position after beating rival Buford. 

There’s a new No. 1 team in Class 3A. Undefeated Calvary Day of Savannah moved to the top when Cedar Grove suffered its fifth loss. 

Prince Avenue Christian had its 20-game winning streak snapped, but it wasn't enough to knock the Wolverines out of the No. 1 spot in Class A Division I. 

The new No. 1 team in Class 5A is Cartersville, a program that’s familiar with the pressure that comes with being the target for the rest of the state. 

Cedar Grove has a 2-3 record but remains No. 1 in Class 3A because of its talent and strength of schedule.
