Tommy Jones of Cherokee Bluff won his 100th game as head coach.

Zion Ragins, the speedy receiver from Jones County, has committed to play at the University of Oklahoma.

The Valdosta High School football team played its spring game Saturday night against Jones County. For the Wildcats players, fans and acting head coach Shelton Felton, they're just happy to get back on the field and away from the off-field issues that have plagued the team
