A STEMonstration in Living Color

This video provides an overview of Mathematical Modeling for all grade levels, K-12. The Mathematical Modeling Framework is a part of the Essential Instructional Guidance adopted by the State Board of Education as an expectation for teaching and learning for the adopted standards.Mathematical Modeling is an important big idea within Georgia's K-12 Mathematics Standards for all grade levels and courses. Strategies for teaching and learning are provided to support teachers with the implementation of mathematical modeling with students in the classroom to support full implementation of the state standards.
