Leslie Lowe Brown is currently a 3rd Grade teacher and Robotics coach at Vineville Academy of the Arts in Macon, Georgia. Leslie is a graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS Industrial Design degree. Her first career was as a product designer, designing consumer products, electronics, and medical equipment. She holds three patents and taught Industrial Design at Georgia Tech. After several years as a stay-at-home mom, Leslie returned to the classroom and has been working in elementary education and coaching LEGO Robotics for 5 years. She has a contagious passion for education, mathematics, science and engineering. A cheerleader for learning, Leslie makes it challenging and fun for her students and colleagues alike.

Leslie lives in historic Macon, Georgia with her husband, Chris, and two children, Reilly and Wilson. When not playing with LEGOs, Leslie enjoys photography, and camping with her family.
