A new mixed-use development is getting underway at the Morningside neighborhood, according to Amy Wenk of Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The 6-acre project, headed up by Fuqua Development LLC, will include 300 apartments and 34,000 square feet of retail space at Piedmont Avenue and Cheshire Bridge Road between Midtown and Buckhead (Atlanta Business Chronicle).

One of the first announced tenants of the development will be Sprouts Farmers Markets - an organic grocery chain that is making its way into Georgia. Sprouts is planning 15 stores in Georgia over the next 3 years, reports the article.)
