Kroger Marketplace has partnered with Murray's Cheese.

A new type of Kroger opens today in Savannah: Kroger Marketplace.

The Kroger Marketplace on Mall Boulevard in Florence Square is the largest Kroger in the state at 100,000+ square feet. There are only 70 Kroger Marketplaces in the country, according to Savannahnow.com. In addition, the new $30 million Marketplace will create approximately 267 new job positions, reports the Savannah Morning News.

Not only will the Kroger Marketplace have an extensive produce section, a separate Kosher deli, a floral department and a specialty cheese shop, but it will also have a bed and bath section, a home decor section, a clothing shop, a Baby World and a large organic section as well.
