Mr. Chips pickle facility is 120,000 square feet in the Ocmulgee East Industrial Park.

Mr. Chips, Inc., a packager of cubed pickle relish and dill pickle chips, is locating their pickle processing plant in Macon. The company is investing approximately $8.5 million into their facility and plans to employ up to 50 people (MaconWorks.com).

Jay Janicke, Vice President of Sales for Mr. Chips states, "We are excited about the opportunity Macon will offer our company to grow. This facility will provide growth opportunities with existing customers and new customers by allowing us to provide greater services for them" (MaconWorks.com).

Mr. Chips is a subsidiary of Bay View Food Products Company. They have been in the cucumber grading and brining business since 1946.
