Van Jones is hoping the tech sector can bring both hope and opportunity when it comes to empowering Black and Brown communities.

Speaking with GPB’s Pamela Kirkland, Jones talked about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and his initiative, the Dream Machine Innovation Lab, which is organizing a free, one-day event in Atlanta on June 15.

The event aims to equip Black and brown students, young and established professionals, small business owners, and more with the tools to be at the forefront of the AI revolution.

The summit will bring together executives from organizations such as Amazon, Microsoft, McKinsey & Co., Meroxa, Path.AI, Seed.AI, and more at the Loudermilk Conference Center to host workshops and train attendees on how to leverage AI to their advantage.
